Allan Houston played 12 seasons in the NBA with the Detroits Pistons and the New York Knicks. Houston was a 2-time NBA All-Star (2000-2001). He was a member of the USA men's national basketball team that won the basketball tournament and gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

Houston was signing autograph at the Dick's Sporting Goods in Wayne, New Jersey. He's my favorite New York Knicks basketball player and I was so excited to meet him. I was the first person to arrive for the signing and Allan signed all of my items.

Rueben Randle was doing another public signing at Sports Authority in Clifton, NJ. This was the second time I met Rueben this year. As always, he was a class act. Rueben signed my photos and New York Giants pennants.

Mariano Rivera (10/17/14)

New York Yankees Pitcher (1995-2014)

Mariano Rivera is a 13-time MLB All-Star, 5-time World Series Champion, 1999 World Series Most Valuable Player, and holds the MLB record for career saves (652). Rivera is a future Hall of Famer and was the last baseball player to ever wear the number 42.

Mariano was signing autographs in North Bergen, NJ at the grand opening of Big Lots. We were told that he will only be signing promotional pictures that Big Lots provides. He was scheduled to sign for an hour and there were only 200 available photos. Luckily, my father and I were one of the first 100 people in line. Big Lots also had a photographer who took pictures of everyone who met Mariano. This was my third time meeting Mariano and he is always a class act.

Jason Pierre-Paul (10/07/14)

New York Giants Defensive End

Jason Pierre-Paul was drafted out of the University of South Florida by the New York Giants in the first round (15th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. He is a 2-time Pro Bowler (2011, 2012) and a member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI championship team.

Jason Pierre-Paul was signing autographs at Route 22 Nissan in Hillside, NJ. There was a huge turnout for this event and it was limited to one autograph per person. The only item I brought for Jason to sign was a New York Giants mini helmet. The event was so crowded that I didn't think I was going to get an autograph. Luckily for me, Jason stayed to sign autographs for everyone.

I just want to say thanks to Route 22 Nissan and Jason Pierre-Paul for such a great event. The representatives of Nissan brought food and beverages to everyone at the end of the line. I thought that was very nice and courteous. Jason also stayed past his scheduled signing time to sign autograph for each person that was there.

Tony Parker (09/09/14)

Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs Guard

Tony Parker was drafted 28th overall in the first round of the 2001 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Parker has played his entire NBA career for the Spurs. He is a 4-time NBA Champion (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014), 6-time NBA All-Star, and 2007 NBA Finals MVP.

Tony Parker was signing autographs at Tissot in New York City. When he arrived there was a mob of people outside taking pictures. Luckily, I was one of the first people on line. The line move very quickly and I got to meet Tony within a few minutes. Tony signed multiple items and took pictures with everyone who asked. He signed my basketball and a photo that Tissot provided. I told Tony that I hope he comes to New York. He said he doesn't think that's going to happen and we both laughed together.

This was such a rare appearance, since Tony plays basketball in Texas. It was a pleasure meeting a future Hall of Famer and adding his autograph to my collection. Thank you Tissot Fifth Avenue Boutique in New York for hosting this great event.

Wil Nieves (08/30/14)

Wil Nieves, Philadelphia Phillies Catcher

Wil Nieves, Puerto Rico native, is the back up catcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. Nieves has played 11 MLB seasons for the Padres, Yankees, Nationals, Brewers, Rockies, Diamondbacks, and Phillies.

I went to Citi Field today to watch the New York Mets against the Philadelphia Phillies. Citi Field had a nice promotion for today's game. The first 20,000 fans received a Curtis Granderson bobblehead. I arrived early to the game to try and get Cole Hammels' autograph for my World Series MVP collection. The Phillies were taking batting practice and most of the pitchers were in the outfield shagging fly balls. Unfortunately, Cole Hammels did not come over to sign autographs.

Wil Nieves was the only Philadelphia Phillies player who came over during batting practice to sign autographs. It was awesome to meet a fellow countryman. He signed a baseball for me right on the sweet spot and inscribed his jersey number.

The Mets ended up losing to the Phillies 2-7, but I was happy I got to meet Wil Nieves and add his autograph to my collection.

Tsuyoshi Wada (08/18/14)

Tsuyoshi Wada, Chicago Cubs Pitcher

Tsuyoshi Wada is a starting pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. In Japan, he was a 4-time Nippon Professional Baseball All-Star and Pacific League Rookie of the Year in 2003. Wada also played for the Japanese national team in the 2006 World Baseball Classic.

Today, I had tickets to watch the New York Mets take on the Chicago Cubs at Citi Field. I arrived early to the stadium and the Cubs players were on the field warming up. After they were done warming up, Tsuyoshi Wada came over to sign autographs. He was really cool and signed items for everyone. He signed my baseball right on the sweet spot and added his jersey number to his signature.

The New York Mets lost 1-4, but it was a great day for baseball game. It was a pleasure meeting Tsuyoshi Wada. I wish more players would take as much time as he does to greet fans.
