Rueben Randle was doing another public signing at Sports Authority in Clifton, NJ. This was the second time I met Rueben this year. As always, he was a class act. Rueben signed my photos and New York Giants pennants.

New York Giants Defensive End

Jason Pierre-Paul was drafted out of the University of South Florida by the New York Giants in the first round (15th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. He is a 2-time Pro Bowler (2011, 2012) and a member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI championship team.

Jason Pierre-Paul was signing autographs at Route 22 Nissan in Hillside, NJ. There was a huge turnout for this event and it was limited to one autograph per person. The only item I brought for Jason to sign was a New York Giants mini helmet. The event was so crowded that I didn't think I was going to get an autograph. Luckily for me, Jason stayed to sign autographs for everyone.

I just want to say thanks to Route 22 Nissan and Jason Pierre-Paul for such a great event. The representatives of Nissan brought food and beverages to everyone at the end of the line. I thought that was very nice and courteous. Jason also stayed past his scheduled signing time to sign autograph for each person that was there.

Mark Herzlich (03/01/14) & Stevie Brown (03/02/14)

New York Giants defensive players, Mark Herzlich and Stevie Brown, made appearances at the grand opening of the HackensackUMC Fitness & Wellness Center in Maywood on Saturday and Sunday. I decided to attend the event and hope to get my photos signed by Mark and Stevie.

Mark Herzlich out of Boston College signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants. Mark was a member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI championship team.

This was my first time visiting the HackensackUMC Fitness & Wellness Center. It's a beautiful facility with state-of-the-art equipment. Since this wasn't a regular autograph signing where fans line up to meet the player, I had to walk around the entire place to find Mark. Luckily, one of the employees knew where Mark was and told me where to go. Mark was upstairs speaking with several people after a workout. Once he started heading out of the room, I got a chance to speak with him and asked if he could please sign some photos for me. He was really cool and signed everything I brought for him. I didn't take any pictures of Mark, but found one of the HackensackUMC Fitness & Wellness Facebook.

Since this was a success, I went back to the HackensackUMC Fitness & Wellness Center the next day to meet Stevie Brown. Stevie Brown joined the New York Giants in 2012. He holds the New York Giants single-season interception return yards record (307, 2012).

I arrived really late to second day of the grand opening and had about 15 minutes to find Stevie. I asked several people where can I find Stevie and they all sent me to different parts of the facility. He was no where to be found. I got tired of walking around and decided to stand in the middle of the gym area. I then spotted a photographer taking a picture of Stevie Brown with some kids.

I was happy to know he was still there. There was a small line of people waiting to take a photo with him. I waited in line and got a chance to speak with him. He signed two photos for me. I didn't know if he would sign the second photo I brought for him. It was the only picture I could find that had him and Mark together. In the photo he was getting stiff armed by an opposing player. When he saw the picture he laughed and then signed it.

Mark Herzlich and Stevie Brown were really good with their fans. HackensackUMC Fitness & Wellness Center had a wonderful grand opening. Looking forward to the next meet and greet event.

Antrel Rolle & Prince Amukamara (02/01/14)

New York Giants players Antrel Rolle and Prince Amukamara were signing autographs on the same day at different locations. Luckily, the signings were an hour apart and at nearby locations. Antrel Rolle's signing was the first one of the day. He was signing autographs at the North Bergen Walmart.

Antrel Rolle signed with the Giants in 2010. He's a 3-time Pro Bowl Safety and a member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI (46) championship team. Antrel showed up over 30 minutes late, but lucky for me I was one of the first ones in line. This was another event hosted by Pepsi during Super Bowl week. They had some nice 8x10 photos of Antrel for fans to get signed. He was really cool about signing multiple items.

After Antrel signed my items, I rushed over to Prince Amukamara's signing at the Sports Authority in Secaucus.

Prince Amukamara was drafted out of the University of Nebraska by the New York Giants in the 1st round (19th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI (46) championship team.

When I arrived to Sports Authority the signing already began and there was over fifty people in line. Sports Authority had 5x7 photos of Prince for fans to get signed. The line moved quickly and Prince signed all of my items.

It was successful signing day as I was able to obtain autographs from both Antrel Rolle and Prince Amukamara. Thumbs up to the North Bergen Walmart and Secaucus Sports Authority for hosting these events.

Rueben Randle was drafted out of Louisiana State University by the New York Giants in the 2nd round (63rd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. In 2013, Rueben Randle's second year on the team, he lead the New York Giants with 6 receiving touchdowns. He was ranked second on the team in yards per reception (14.9) and third in total reception yards (611).

Rueben Randle made an appearance at the Walmart in Secaucus, NJ. This was the second autograph signing sponsored by Pepsi during Super Bowl week. My goal was to get a New York Giants mini helmet and 5x7 photo signed by Rueben Randle. The day before I attended Amani Toomer's signing and Pepsi had some really nice 8x10 photos for everyone. They did the same thing for Rueben's signing and the photos were amazing.

Walmart didn't provide Rueben with a silver sharpie, but luckily I came prepared. I ended up letting him keep it, since he told me he was going to need one for the rest of the signing. His friend was really nice and she thanked me for leaving it behind. Rueben was also thankful. It was the least I can do after he signed multiple items for me.

Amani Toomer (01/30/14)

Amani Toomer, New York Giants Wide Receiver

Amani Toomer played 13 seasons for the New York Giants from 1996-2008. He was a member of the Super Bowl XLII championship team in 2008 when the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots 17-14. Amani retired with 668 receptions, 9,497 receiving yards, and 54 touchdowns. His 9,497 receiving yards is the franchise's all-time record.

Amani was signing autographs during Super Bowl week at the Walmart in Kearny, NJ. My goal was to get a mini helmet and 5x7 photo signed by him. I didn't arrive on time, but lucky for me it wasn't too crowded. Pepsi sponsored the autograph signing and had some really nice 8x10 photos of Amani catching a pass during Super Bowl XLII. Amani was really cool about signing multiple items.

Amani is truly a great guy. I'm glad he played his whole career in New York and it was a pleasure meeting him. Thank you Pepsi and Walmart for this great event.

Andre Brown (12/10/13)

Super Bowl XLVI Champion

Andre Brown was drafted out of North Carolina State by the New York Giants in the 4th round (129th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. He missed his rookie season due to injury and was released. Brown played for several teams before returning to the Giants in 2011. He also played on the New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI championship team in 2012.

Andre Brown was signing autographs at the Paramus Nissan dealership in Paramus, NJ. Fans were asked to donate a brand new toy to receive an autograph. Donations benefited Toys for Tots. During my lunch break, I went out to Toys R Us to purchase a unisex toy. I found the perfect toy, Mr. Potato Head!

I arrived at Paramus Nissan about 40 minutes early. Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of people and I was the third person in line for the autograph signing. I decided to get out of the line to sit down in the waiting area and watch TV. Once the time got closer to 6:00 pm, one of the Paramus Nissan representatives came over and asked if I was here for the signing. I told him I was and he suggested that I start getting in line because more people started to show up. It wasn't that bad, I ended up being the fifteenth person.

Andre arrived on time and started signing right away. Paramus Nissan provided free photos of Andre Brown to everyone who was there for the signing.

Andre was really good with all his fans. He took pictures with everyone who asked and even signed multiple items. Here's a picture of Andre Brown signing my New York Giants mini helmet.

After he signed my mini helmet, I asked him if I can please have a autographed photo as well. Andre was really cool about it and signed a photo for me.
